Eastern is committed to delivering quality work and craftsmanship while keeping every employee healthy and safe throughout their careers. All work is closely monitored by our highly knowledgeable Safety Manager whose sole purpose is to make certain each employee is informed, prepared, and equipped to avoid injury and prevent hazards.

Eastern’s Safety Program includes compliance to OSHA’s Construction Safety Guidelines (29 CFR Part 1926) for the baseline safety standard as well as EM 385-1-1 for any work performed for the Army Corps of Engineers. All regulations are strictly enforced and all jobsites are under the surveillance our Safety Manager. We educate our employees, provide ongoing training, and require appropriate certifications, as needed, of all of our employees while maintaining a database of all certifications, course completions, and renewals. At Eastern, we believe a successful project is a safe project. It is not our goal to simply avoid loss and manage risk, it is our goal to bridge the gap between our safety ideals and onsite realities while instilling in our employees that a safe environment is a non- negotiable specification of every job.
